iZombie ( Chapter 15 )

     That afternoon I cleaned her walls from her blood. I was also very happy that afternoon, very weird of me to be happy. That morning I had confessed to Dyske about something and he actually was happy for me. I then told everyone else, I guess my confidesne was too high that morning. Domine told me he knew it, Jackie guessed it since I was so nice to her, Nanalai knew as well but she still thought I was straight. Then there was Hakihu, she came in that afternoon and everyone was waiting for me to tell her. I finished cleaning the walls and went downstairs to see everyone looking me. The only eyes I saw looking at mine were Hakihu's. She was happy to see me, but she knew something was up.

" Kotaka what it is." She asked

" I was lying to you, well just a little part of me was wrong." I say

" What is it, please don't tell me Tomoe took you in." She cried

" No, don't worry I'm not leaving this place. But the thing I lied about was my sexuality." I confess

" What is it then." She answered

" I'm gay. I told everyone else but they kind of already guessed I was. But then there was you, I didn't want to hurt your feelings if you had any for me." I finally came up with it

" Oh, its okay. I guess I kind of knew as well. It was the way you kissed me that morning, it didn't feel like you wanted to kiss me, you just did it. And so I guessed you were like Dyske, gay as ever." She laughed

" Damn, I was easy to figure out." I smile and everyone laughs at me

     Hakihu hugs me and says she loves me the way I am. I love her too just as a friend, for now. She let go of me and smiled, she told me she would be smiling the whole day. I laughed at her and doubted she would be able to smile the whole day. She threw her towel across the bar table and said she was going out. She took my hand and made me come with her, we went out to the market. On October 17, don't think there is a market on a Friday. But maybe she was right.
     We walked down to the left of the diner and found our self at a town square. There were a couple stands opening up with fruit and vegetables on the tables. On some were fabrics and clothing, I saw many jewelry on some as well. Hakihu was at every on with jewelry on it, she wanted to get me something. I found her digging through a pile of earings on my of the stands, she wanted to by me earings. She told me to go somewhere else and so I walked off into the middle where a fountain was placed. I sat down and waited for a while, it was finally dark when she came over to me.

" Sorry I'm late. I wanted to get you a couple pairs." She laughed and hands a bag filled with earings.
" Oh my god Hakihu you didn't have to do this for me. Thank you." I smile and hug her
" No problem, I guess I'm being the man today." She laughed again
" Maybe." I answered

     I looked through the bag and saw many diamond earings. I found many other types of earings, then I felt my ears. I had no holes in them, Hakihu would have to pay for them. She was going to kill me, but then again we have a supply of money in the diner for us. So I just kept quiet about the money problem so she wouldn't continue about if I need more things. She finished looking around and we finally went back to Chika's house, hopefully she takes the news I have for her.
     We walk into the building and smell the aroma of shrimp and pasta, our mothers favorite. I walked into the kitchen and saw her tasting it. I walked up behind her and hugged her form the back. First she took it as a surprise then turned around to look at me.

" Kotaka where have you been?" She questioned
" I've been shopping with Hakihu and got you a pair of earingsfor you." I say and pick up the earings I got her
" Thanks dude, your amazing." She laughed
" I also have something else to tell you." I start
" What is it?" She asked
" Im gay." I spat out and look down at my feet
" Holy shit dude, know you tell me. Don't worry mother already told me, she knew it as well." She laughed
" Okay, I guess I am easy to figure out." I laugh as well
" No kidding Red." Hakihu smiled

     I sat down at the dining table, Hakihu sat next to me. Chika talked to us about what the plain was, she asked if I was going to stay with her anymore. I had to tell her for her own life I couldn't stay with her anymore. She cried a bit but she understood since she was the only thing of mother I had. I gave her a hug and Hakihu and I had dinner with her that night.
     Once we finished Hakihu cleaned the plates in the sink. Chika and I talked for a bit, I told her Dyske helped me come out. She knew exactly what I meant. I laughed and rubbed her head. Once we were done talking Hakihu and I left, I hugged Chika on more time and we headed back to the dinner. Once we got out of the apartment we both threw up the food, It was something weird if people saw but we had to do it. We laughed after and walked back to the diner.
     We got back and it was finally dark. Hakihu went home after giving everyone a gift, as well as Nanalai and Jackie. The only ones that were left were Domine, Dyske and I. Domine was cleaning the cups after a long day of working and Dyske was cleaning the tables. I sat down at the bar and Domine gave me a cup of coffee as well as one for Dyske. He sat next to me and put his head on my shoulder, I sipped some of my coffee and felt a kiss on my cheek. I looked at Dyske and he was blushing, I laugh and rub his hair. Domine laughs as well and compliments how cute of a couple we were. I haven't put it that way in a while since I kissed him, but I guess everyone thinks that now. At least I'm happy again.

iZombie ( Chapter 14 )

     Okay, yes I was still confused about Crow, Domine never spoke of her again so I just thought I had to keep my mouth shut. I was still out of sorts from last night, she could hear my thoughts. Well, I forgot all about it the next morning, like always. I went to the diner that morning and only saw Dyske working the morning shifts, he was glad I came. I put my apron on and took orders like always, if Crow was in charge of iZombie then she must be ordering the murders. I had to get everyone back here tonight to tell them what I think of her, Domine might hate me though. 

     After I came in, Jackie came through the door with a smile on her face and blood in her teeth. I put my hand on my face and pulled it down it, she laughed and went upstairs. I guess she had something to eat, but she only kills animals at night. Dyske follows my eyes to the upstairs door, he walks over and hugs me from behind. 

" What is it Kotaka?" He asked me

" I'm not sure, I'm just confused." I laugh

" I know you are, but you know something's up with Jackie." He read my mind

" How did you know," I said and turned around to look at him.

" I figured it out as well as you did. She's a lie to all of us, especially you." He caressed my hair. 

" Thanks, Dyske, but I think I figured it out as well," I say and pull away from him.

    I turned to go upstairs, but his hand was holding mine. I stood there and thought about some things, if I was thinking correctly Dyske had a crush on me.  I should at least listen to him at least once in our little friendship. I turned and looked at him, I shook my head no and kissed his cheek. I wanted to make sure he was going to be okay if I left him, he nodded back. He finally let go and I went upstairs. I followed the smell of blood and went into a room to the left of the hall. I saw Jackie just sitting there, licking her hands. She laughed at me and gestured me to sit next to her. I did and she put her head on my shoulder. I put my left arm around her and kissed her forehead.

" Your going to be okay Gazelle," I called her.

" Thanks, Red, your always there for me." She laughed and hugged me

" Ya, no problem. I'm just still confused if were friends or not anymore." I ask

" Oh, my little baby. We are friends just it's like a long distance relationship." She answered and moved her hand along my face.

     I looked at her and she laughed at me. I smiled a little bit and tried to keep my distance from her face. I knew what Dyske meant when he grabbed my hand, it was as if we were dating. He tells me not to see her, but I do anyway and then we break up. I look away from her and smirk at the hand prints of blood. It smelled good to me.

" Can I have some," I ask

" Of the blood, ya. You can clean the walls so Souske doesn't kill me again." She laughed and rubbed my hair

" Also can you get Dyske up here, you can do his shifts while we talk," I ask once more

" Ya, don't worry." She smiled and left the room

     After a while of sitting there looking at the blood stained walls, Dyske comes in. He smiles at me and sits down next to me. I look at him and made up my mind if I wanted to me a real zombie I had to act more like a human. I shook my head and hugged him. He put his arms around my waist and hugged me back.

" Oh Kotaka, it took you this long to realize this." He laughed

" I'm sorry, I can't do life anymore. I want to love girl's but I can't, they remind me of my X. She was a zombie like you, but she was corrupted. The police shot her down where she was sleeping, it was in her sleep." I shouted and cried at the same time.

" Dude, it's going to be okay. I get it, I was the same as you before I realized I liked guys and went out with Tomoe," he smiled

" Whats happened with you guys," I asked

" I broke up with him since he was faking the gay thing. I was heart crushed, or how every you saw it. Then I realized I was in love with you when I saw you. And I now the thing when someone loves someone by just looking at them is not true and all, but that happened to me. And so I knew you were gay because you have more lady friends than guy friends." He laughs at the end

" Fine, you got me. I just did that to fit in. Hopefully, I don't hurt Hakihu's feelings because I did kiss her." I blushed

     Dyske looked at me and smiled. I laughed with him and hugged him again. He helped me be who my zombie is, yes I'm gay and I'm sorry I never told you guys. But that was the secret I wanted to keep a secret from the world. I was scared my friends would hate me after I told them. But now I'm not afraid to tell the world the real me is back. 

     I smiled at Dyske and stood up from the sofa. I stretched and was going to leave but Dyske pulled me close to him. I was surprised he did this to me, he stood up and hugged me like for the one-hundredth time. I turned around and kissed his lips, that time it was my turn to be brave. I let go and rubbed his hair, I jumped in the air and felt the boulders lift away from my shoulders. I was stress-free as of this morning on October 17. Now that feeling was great. 

     

iZombie ( Chapter 13 )

    The next morning I went out for a run, which I never did before I wanted to get my aura out. I went down my stairs and went right instead of going left to the diner. I knew that Hakihu would be out sometime about now since I saw where she lived once when I walked her home. I ran as fast I could and instead of seeing her I ran in Dyske. 

" Sorry, dude." I breathed out of my mouth

" It's cool, your just running." he smiled

" Yup, that's what I'm doing," I smirk.

" Are you heading to the diner any tie soon," Dyske asked.

" I'm not sure since I just started," I respond

" Then I'll run with you." Dyske smiled and ran with me around the block

     I watched as every building went by, I didn't see Hakihu at all. We finally got to the diner but on the other side of the street. Dyske just walked out, I ran to catch up with him grabbing his hand. Which I didn't mean to, but I was feeling a lot better around him now. I think he's trying to make me gay or is he. I didn't care if he did, that would be an experience for me. But what about Hakihu, I did tell her I loved her. What if she found out that Dyske actually kissed me, that would be bad for me. We got to the other side of the street and went inside the diner, Domine was cleaning cups, Jackie was serving everyone. No Hakihu and no Souske, Tomoe was sitting at the bar. Dyske put an arm in front of my body and told me mentally not to engage. I nodded my head and just followed him to a window seat. We both sat down and Domine came around to speak with us. 

" Are you trying kid." He whispered

" Ya, I'm running more than I should. I'm letting my mind become nothing." I smile

" That's what I like to hear kid, your going to do great." Domine laughed and went back to work

" I'm glad your working hard Kotaka-sempi." Jackie smiled

" Sempi? Am I even older than you." I asked

" Yup." She winked and gave someone some coffee.

" I'm glad also Kotaka-kun." Dyske blushed

" Thank's Dyske." I smiled and rubbed his hair

This is Crow

     I stood up and got the both of us some coffee to help us wake up. I sat down and heard the front door open. A women came in, she was beautiful. Nothing I've ever seen in a women before. She walked in a went start for Domine, I was in awe. I heard him call her the women in black, I laughed a bit. I watched as she stopped talking, then I stopped laughing. She walked over to me and looked into my face with her red eyes.

" Morning Red." She smiled and patted my head
" How do you know" I ask
" I just do, can't you let a girl be herself." She laughed
" My names Kotaka thank you very much." I answer
" Oh how rude am I, my names Crow." She replied and showed me her crow wings on her back.

     I looked at them then looked back at her face, she was blushing. I looked away and put my hands in my lap. She laughed at me then walked back to Domine.

" Is she a zombie." I whisper to Dyske
" Ya, shes in charge of the iZombie company." He explained
" But why is she here." I ask
" Domine and her used to date, so shes used to seeing him alot." He answered back
" Oh, then why is Domine letting her in like this." I respond
" I'm not sure, sempi." Dyske replied
" Sempi? Not you too." I was confused

       Who was this Crow women, and why did she come to Domine. Are they still together or are they talking about business. I was confused to the max.

     

iZombie ( Chapter 12 )

     That afternoon Domine and I went into a field to practice. It was right behind the diner, which looked small from where I was standing. Domine switched to his zombie form, which was his blue haired DJ. I turned into my zombie form and saw him wield a blue light from his hands. 

" Okay, this part is important to a zombies life if we don't have this we won't be able to use our special ability," Domine explained

" So we have the color of our what exactly," I questioned

" We use our aura to help with this power, like when Dyske showed you his black orb. He did that to protect you, don't think of it personally." Domine responded

" No, its fine, so will my aura be a red color," I ask

" Maybe, you never know. It might be pure white." He replied

     I saw as Domine moved his orb around his hands, it was a pretty blue color, it reminded me of the sea. I watched as he aimed it at a wall, he throw the orb and it crashed into the wall. I was surprised it also could be used to destruction, but that was just the first part. Then he showed me how we could use it for a signal for others to come to our need, or help as I called it. He told me if I wanted an orb fast I would have to concentrate for a long time. Domine sat down and I followed, he told me we were going to meditate for an hour and see how I do. I've never done this before, so I knew to all of it. I crossed my legs and put my hands on my knees. I closed my eyes and began to make my mind blank. I could hear Domine laugh and then fell silent. I smiled inside and could see my thoughts as I concentrated enough. 

     I was able to see what I thought, but it had to be blank. I made sure my body was breathing perfectly fine, same with my heart beat. I felt the grass on my legs as the wind blew it towards me. I was entwined with my body and that was what I was supposed to do. After an hour I stood up and opened my eyes, Domine was gone. He had left right when I started to do this.

' Oh Domine, you bastard. Where have you gone.' I thought as I looked around the field. 

     In the darkness, I could see someone comes towards me. I only could make out that it was a man, but it wasn't Domine.

" Whos there," I ask

Tomoe's zombie form.

" No one particular." He answered

" That voice, is that you Tomoe." I questioned

" Good job Kotaka, you got it correct." He laughed

     He walked into the light and I could see he didn't look the same. He was in his zombie form, he looked more like a clown than a zombie. But I didn't say that to him. 

" What do you want," I ask.

" Your ability, I heard once it gets more powerful you will be most powerful out of all the zombies. And I want that power for myself." He laughs

" Why are you being greedy, this isn't you Tomoe. Or is it more you then the you I met." I thought out loud.

" You got it correct, I act all nice to make people like me, then I kill them." He smiles

     I back up and try to find my way back to the diner, then I feel someone behind me. I look up and see Domine right there. I laugh at him and move aside so he can show me how to use my orb. But instead of fighting Tomoe disappears into the night sky. I rub the back of my head in confusion and walk back to the diner with Domine. The next time I meet Tomoe, I will be able to kill him for good.

iZombie ( Chapter 11 )

     Dyske and I walked down my street to the diner right in time to see Hakihu opening it up. I run to her side and wait for her to see me, she turns around and laughs pretty hard. Dyske laughs a little bit and pats her head. She opens the door and lets us go in first, I flick the lights on and go behind the counter. I see that there is a note there, the boss told us to just wait for everyone to come. I gave the note to Hakihu and she understood.

" We have to wait for Nanalai. Tomoe isn't coming today, or he can't." Hakihu told us.

" Why not, he's part of the diner too," I reply

" No, he's not Kotaka. He works for the only zombie company in Korea." Dyske explains

" Oh, silly me. So he won't show up this morning." I respond

" Nope," Both Hakihu and Dyske say at the same time

     I smile a bit and see Nanalai walk in. She had her uniform on and was very confused. I walked upstairs where Domine was sleeping and woke him up since everyone was here. But not Jackie, I guess she didn't need to come. I shake Domine awake and tell him I will spill coffee on his face if he didn't get up in 5 minutes. That worked because he jumped out of bed right away. He laughs and shakes my hand, he puts his apron on and heads back down to the diner with me. I open the door which is behind the counter to see Nanalai and Hakihu sitting at a table, Dyske was cleaning the cups once again. But no Jackie or Souske. Our boss was late or was he. Domine yawned for some time then just helped Dyske out. I was guessing the boss wants to talk to us about the murders that have been happening. 

     I hear the front door open and see the boss walk in with a big smile. I saw welcome and watch him sit down at the bar, everyone looked at him. 

Souske (The Boss), in zombie form.

" Morning everyone." He started

" Morning, sir," I said and gave him a cup of coffee.

" Thank you Kotaka." He smiled

" What did you want to talk about?" Hakihu questioned

" Well, if you guessed it already. I wanted to talk about the murders, I new Kotaka would figure it out. Don't be freaked out I could tell by just looking at your expression. But anyway there have been zombies killing humans and other zombies. I am aware that Tomoe will be a suspect for those killings because of his boss. He works for the iZombie company that tells everyone that there won't be any more murders. But then again there are." He explained

" So your telling us we have to watch out for your grandson." I rub the back of my head

" Boy, he is not my grandson, I just call him that to make him feel like home. Since I'm the only family the kid has." Souske sipped some of his coffee

     The room fell silent once more, I was more curious about Tomoe then I ever was. I came up with a couple of questions to ask Souske but I didn't want to ruin his Wednesday morning. Today was the 15th of October and we were having a little party to celebrate the bosses return, like always Domine told me. I sit down at the table with Hakihu and Nanalai and wait for the boss to speak again. But instead he just sips his coffee until he is done. I watch him stand up and go upstairs with Domine. I was even more curious what they would talk about. 

     After about 10 minutes, they both came down but the boss left after that. I looked at Domine and he came and sat next to Nanalai. Dyske came over as well, sitting next to me but more like on my lap. Domine explained what the boss had in plain for us to do, we were to recruit other zombies to help us with a Destroy#100 plain. Domine also told us what that meant, we were to destroy the iZombie company and never let zombies be in charge of one ever again. Because we don't want them to think there on top of the world because of one company, but I thought it was pretty cool they did that. 

" Okay, Kotaka we need to train you first before we put this plan on the go." Domine laughed

" Thanks, I do need it since I haven't found my power yet. I mean I know I can run super fast, and jump really high. But that's all I know." I respond

" Well, that's what I'm here for." Domine answered me and patted my dirty blond hair.

     How will I be able to train when I have Chika to worry about. But that was an easy question to be answered, I will train while I work. Domine made the pretty clear to me about several times. I was finally enjoying my life, it just changed a little bit after my so-called "death." But now I know what I must do to help Chika out, to keep her safe. 

iZombie ( Chapter 10 )

     I woke up that morning to a face next to mine. I sat up and saw that Dyske was still sleeping, but he had fallen off the sofa right next to me. I shake my head to wake me up more, and I sigh. I get up and stretch my body, I walk into my step sister's room and see she is sleeping. I smile and walked back to the kitchen, Dyske had his eyes open. 

" You didn't wake me up," Dyske questioned.

" I didn't want to wake you, you look most calm when your sleeping," I say and yawn.

" I try." He says and gives me a big morning hug

     He lets go and sits down at the dining table. I go to the coffee machine and make some for us. As I'm making it I think about Dyske, what if I start to get attracted to him. What happens after that, I couldn't stop asking myself questions I wanted to be answered. I put the water in the side and start the machine up, then sit next to Dyske. He lays his head on my left shoulder and closes his eyes for a couple minutes until we heard the coffee machine beep. I got up and put coffee in two cups, I poured some milk in it and handed one to Dyske.

" Thank you." He smiled

" No problem, its the least I can do for staying over at my place." I laugh

" Well you did invite me to stay, I couldn't resist." he replied and walked over to me.

     I was looking at the coffee machine, I felt Dyske stand shoulder to shoulder to me. His right arm was around my neck, he was looking at the kitchen. We look at each other and smile, out of the corner of my eye I see Chika looking at me. She laughs and walks up to me, she hugs me and says good morning to Dyske. I pour her a cup of coffee and hand it to her. She says " Thanks " and sits down on the living room sofa. Dyske looks at me once she leaves sight, I couldn't stop looking at him. I blush and look down at my feet. He laughs and whispers something into my ear.

" You will kiss me sometime." he whispers

This is Ryo in zombie form.

     I don't move from my spot, I just look at him in shock. After we finished our coffee I put the cups in the sink. Dyske and I go to my room to change, I'm not sure why he doesn't just go into the bathroom we have. I take my sweats off and put my black jeans on, I then put my white apron over them. I then take my white tank off and fold it nicely into my closet. Dyske just look at me, I was confused why. He smiles and blushes, and finally turns away. I put my white working shirt on and place my pin on my shirt pocket. I see Dyske do the same thing, we exit my room and see Chika looking at the news. She seemed to be crying.

" Today we will be overlooking another murder case but this time it has the same symbol as the last one." The news caster announced

     I look over at Dyske who is shivered up in a hunch. I laugh and hug him, I tell him that it was just for food, and he nods his head. I wanted to kiss his cheek to make him feel better but I didn't want to act something I wasn't.  Then Ryo and Kens faces appear in my mind, they looked like they had just murdered someone. 

This is Ken in zombie form.

I tried to get there faces out of my mind but they kept looking at me like they were going to kill me. I look back at Dyske who was blushing at me. He smiled at me and actually kissed my lips. It was a weird feeling for a guy to kiss me, but I just let him. Once he let go he patted my head and told me why he did that. I was surprised he would do that for a friend like me. 

" I did that so you wouldn't have to worry about Chika. And both Ken and Ryo anymore." Dyske smiled

" Thanks, that did feel weird though." I laugh and look away from him. 

     I get my work bag and Dyske follows me out the door. We were on the way to the diner, hands entwined with each others and me being awkward like always. Finally going to see the boss in zombie form today, I smiled all the way to the diner. 

iZombie ( Chapter 9 )

     Dyske let go and smiled at me.

" Sorry Kotaka, I didn't mean to get your shirt wet," He said trying to dry my left shoulder.

" No its fine." I say and look at him

     His face was really close to mine, I looked away and blushed. He laughed at me and continued to walk me home. I thought Tomoe was a nice person, but the sense that he would order two other zombies to kill their kind was horrifying to me. We got to my building and walked up to my door, Dyske followed me in. 

" Chika, I'm home. I got to meet my boss today. Wait, do you smell that," I walked into the living room.

" Ya, It doesn't smell right?" Dyske questioned and made his eyes turn black.

" Dyske, you don't think." I bite my nails

" It could be Chika's blood. I wonder if Tomoe has a third zombie under his control." Dyske was thinking out loud.

" But if shes dead, I won't be able to live with myself." I responded

     We looked around the apartment, I could see where they hurt her. I could feel my blood boiling inside me, if they hurt her they will pay. I couldn't control my angry, Dyske had to tell me jokes to help.

" Kotaka?" A voice said from Chika's bed room.

" Chika." I yelled

" Help me." She said very faint

     I walked into her bed room and saw her arm was bleeding. I raced to her side and hugged her, I cried a bit. She rubbed my back and tried to make me stop crying for no reason.

" Kotaka, its okay. I'm going to be fine. Its not a big wound, if it was I would be dead right now."

" Don't say that, you could have died on me. I didn't want to make mother and father angry at me for ruining your life." I yelled

" Kotaka. . . . . ." She looked at me and kissed my forehead  " I would never do that to you."

     She looked at me and wipped the tears from my face. Dyske brought her into the kitchen and aided her arm, I couldn't do it. I was too broken apart from what Ryo and Ken did to her arm. I watched as he wrapped her arm in a bandage, he also gave her medicine for the pain. I told him I was grateful for him being here, he just laughed and nodded his head.

" I think I will stay the night." Dyske started

" Sure thing, you can sleep on the sofa." I nod in agreement

" Thanks Kotaka." Chika spoke

" No problem, but its Dyske's doing that your arm will heal." I smile

" Its your doing for smelling the blood first." Dyske commented and took Chika to my room. 

     I made a little bed on the sofa for Dyske, and put a sleeping bag on the floor next to the sofa for me. I turned the lights off and made sure Dyske got into bed before me. I knelt against the sofa looking into his eyes, he laughs at me. I smile and pat his head before I get into my sleeping bag. I heard him say ' thank you ' and fall asleep. I did the same after a couple minutes, I was just worried for my step sister. 

iZombie ( Chapter 8 )

     I look at Dyske for some time and watch him from afar. He changes back into his human form and is the sweetest gay dude I have every met. We walk out of the alley as he takes hold of my hand again, I didn't speak to him after that. 

     We finally get to the diner, I run in and sit at the bar that they had. Dyske walks in calmly and sits next to me, he just sits there. I look at him and see his eyes looked redder than his brown eyes. Domine comes out and tells us what we have to do today, he can tell Dyske is freaking me out. 

" Okay, 1. Dyske you will be making the coffee today. And 2. Stop freaking out Kotaka for me." He laughs

" Yes sir, I'm sorry. I was trying to be nice to him." He smiles at me

" Well, that is freaking him out," Domine explains.

" Well not all of it, I'm just not used to someone like him actually liking me. And I mean his scary side that I kind don't like." I reply

     I get up and go around the diner, getting people orders. They all wanted to try the bosses coffee, which was actually really good. I come to a seat where my friend Jackie was sitting, she smiled at me and ordered her usual, coffee. I laughed and patted her head, I went to Dyske and told him how much coffee to make, as well as food. He was actually the second best person to make the bosses coffee. When I say boss Domine isn't in charge, he is while the real boss is away on business. Nanalai comes in and helps me as a waitress, I think we make a great team. 

" Kotaka can you come here please," Dyske says.

" Sure, what do you want dude," I ask as I get closer to him.

" Uh, can you go give this to Jackie, it's her favorite coffee." he smiles

" Sure thing," I say and smile at him.

Nanalai in her zombie form

     I walk over to her and give her, her coffee. I sit down on the other side of the little table and we talk for about some time. Once everyone left the shop that was human, she turned into her zombie form. So did Dyske, I smiled and stayed in my human form. Nanalai also turned into her zombie form, it was the first time I saw it. She didn't look like the 14-year-old girl I knew. She looked more grown up, I was kind of shocked. 

" What are you doing Red, change already. The Boss is coming back today." Nanalai warned

     I did as she said and waited for some time till the Boss actually arrived at the diner. He didn't look like the Boss of a diner, nor did Domine. He looked more of the boxing type of guy, maybe he actually played in a boxing match. He walked in and looked at all of us, then he looked at Jackie and me.

" Two new zombies working here, well I welcome you both." he said very gently
" Oh, thank you, sir," Jackie said and bowed her head.
" If it wasn't for Hakihu then I wouldn't be here," I say and bow my head as well.
" Well, that Hakihu has a good opinion of new workers like yourself." The boss explains
" I'm sorry sir, but may I ask what I shall call you," I ask
" You may call me by my name Souske, or even Mr, Chang." He smiles
" Thank you sir." I answer and stand back up.

     Behind the boss came in a zombie with blue hair. He looked like a man who liked to dress like women, but then again he was feminine like as he spoke. Souske has purple hair and purple eyes, it didn't look like they were in their zombie forms at all. The man with blue hair went up to Dyske and kissed his cheek. Dyske didn't look at him at all.

" This here is my grandson Tomoe. Pease treat him as if he was an employee." He announced
" Gramps, stop thinking they will. I can control them with my zombie ability." He said
" Fine, but be careful, okay," Souske replied.
" Yes Gramps, I get it." he answered

     I watched as everyone changed into human form, so I followed. Dyske walked over to me and held my arm entwined in his. I guess he didn't like Tomoe that much because he didn't kiss him back. My arm that was open rubbed his head to calm him down. Souske and Tomoe went upstairs, Nanalai followed. Jackie hugged me and left to go feed. Domine stayed downstairs to wait if any other customers came in. Dyske let go of me and whispered "Thankyou" Into my ear. I smiled and nodded my head back at him. Hakihu was cleaning the dishes and drying them. Domine was placing them back onto the shelves. I was impressed the feeling the boss and Tomoe left when they weren't in the room, Domine did say Souske was a nice boss to count on.

" I'm out of here guys." I wave my hand to the others that were there.
" Let me come with you, Tomoe does have friends that kill other zombies." Dyske explained  " I can protect you since you don't have your ability yet."
" Sure thing Dyske." I say and held out my hand.

     I was getting used to Dyske holding my hand all the time. So I let him as he smiled at me. We left the building and walked side by side, he tightened his grip on my hand. I whistled a bit to try to calm down, but I knew something was out in the darkness of the night. I looked at Dyske who nodded at me. In the darkness, we changed into our zombie forms and waited by a street lamp for some of Tomoe's friends to show up.

" Look who we found Ken." Said a man in the darkness
" Two unwanted zombies." Ken followed
" What do you want, Ryo, Ken," Dyske announced
" Oh, Dyske. Thought you and master whould be in bed by now." Ryo laughed
" Stop it, we are doone." Dyske said as he showed them our hands were together
" Wait Dyske, what are you doing," I asked
" Looks like a new zombie." Ken smiled
" Don't touch him, or I will kill both of you." Dyske let go of my hand and weilded a black ball in both of his hands.

     The two men backed up and went back into the darkness. I guess they didn't want to get involved with Dyske's ability. Dyske looked back at me and raced into my arms. For one I was shocked but I had gotten used to him doing this to me. I hugged him back and let him cry on my shoulder.

iZombie ( Chapterr 7 )

     After we finished dinner Chika and Jackie did that dishes. I just sat down at the dining table, thinking.

' Why would Jackie want to be my friend, I'm not the best zombie out there.' I think

     Jackie walks up to me and pets my head, I look up to her and she's smiling. I laugh a bit and smile at her as well.

" I guess we're equal now." She says

" I guess," I answer.

" Why do yu say it like that Kotaka, your friends. Aren't you?" Chika asks

" Ya we are, let's just say we just met at the diner down the street a couple hours ago," I smirk and rub the back of my head.

" Well, we're friends now, okay Red," Jackie reply's with a smile.

     She walks to the sofa and sits down, Chika follows and sits next to her. Chika turns the TV on and puts the channel to the News Station, of course. I sit next to Jackie and watch the TV screen, the news said there was another murder tonight. As the camera came to the murder scene I saw a green vine on the dead man's arm. I was surprised because I knew who it was, that was Dyske's mark. I shook my head and thought it was a dream, but it wasn't.

" Hey Jackie, do you know who Dyske is," I ask.

" Ya I do, why?" She questioned

" That's his mark." I gesture to the vine around the man's arm

" Oh my god, your right. Your really smart Kotaka." She giggled

" Thanks." I smile and look back at the TV

     The new also said they thought it was part of the only zombie companies in the city. And, of course, that city is in South Korea. I was born here when I was little, but when I was 5 years old to 15 I lived in California. Then I moved back to Korea since I wanted to get better at the language, and I wanted to get to know my step sister better. 

     Once the news went off my step sister didn't know what to say. She was shocked and disguised that I knew the man who did that. She didn't speak to me about that ever again. Jackie told me she enjoyed herself tonight, I said she was welcome back any time she wanted. She laughed and kissed my cheek. I laughed a bit too and waved her good-bye. I see her look back at me and wink out of the blue. That night was one crazy one. I shook my head a bit and went inside to my step sister. I went to my room and got in my bed, I went to sleep right away.

Next Morning, October 14th . . . . . 

     " Kotaka, time to go to work," Chika yelled from the kitchen.

" huh, okay." I sat up in bed still waking up. 

     I put my working clothes on and walked into the dining room, Dyske was in my kitchen.

" Dyske," I questioned

" Oh hey dude, whats up." He smiled

" Um, nothing much. Are you here to walk me to work." I ask

" you can say that." He replies

     Chika was making my toast and scrambled eggs. Dyske was chewing on some toast as well. I sit next to him and takes a sip of water from his cup. He gives me a look and laughs at me, I guess he can be a nice guy. Hopefully, he doesn't show me his zombie form. Chika hands me my breakfast and I dig in, even though zombies can't eat human food. I swallow every bite of it, Dyske looks at me like I'm crazy, I smile and put my plate in the sink. I look back at him and see him right in front of me, he hands me his plate and laughs again. 

" What?" I ask

" Oh nothing, you just seem like I'm going to kill you." he smiles

" No, don't worry dude."

" Okay, and just saying I'm into guys." he winks at me and takes my hand

" Were out sis," I yell and run to catch up with him.

" Are you okay with that?" Dyske asks me

" Ya, I'm cool with that. Just don't hit on me." I point out

" Fine." He laughs still holding my hand

     We walk down the street as he swings our hands back and forth. I blush a bit as people comment on us. Why is Dyske doing this to me, he looks at me and smiles again. 

Dyske's zombie form

" Do you want to see my zombie form." He asks
" Sure, it must be cool," I reply in curiosity.

     We go down an alley and I wait. He hides in the shadows and finally walks out. I step back a bit and was scared at first at his appearance. Then I stop and let him walk towards me, I look down at my feet. He laughs in a sinister way and makes me look at him.

" I don't expect you to like me, but let me at least have some fun with you." He whispers into my ears.

     That was the first time I was truly scared. 

   

iZombie ( Episode 6 )

     I walked with Hakihu for some time down our street. She still looked like a crazy vampire chick. But I didn't mind her att all. We talked for a while, she was able to let her feelings out when we spoke. I would laugh every time she would say she loved meeting me and she can't help but smile. I do remember the first time we met, it was about a week ago on October 6th. Today is October 13th, which is a record for her. She told me every time she met someone they would be disguised in how she looks or even acts near them. I was surprised because to me she was a girl who just wanted to be a girl, not a zombie. As we got to the train station down the street we turned around on the other side of the road, she also turned back to herself again. 

" Am I boring you Kotaka?" She questioned

" No, not at all. I'm enjoying listening to you." I answer and smile at her

" Oh, usually no one likes me."

" I do, you at least have one admirer." I laugh

" Stop, you're lying to me." She stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and looked at me.

" No, I'm not." I try not to smile

" Then show me." She smirked thinking I wouldn't do anything

     To be honest I have gotten attached to her, she was someone I could trust. I blushed and took her arm. I pulled her close to me, and when she was close enough I kissed her lips. She didn't fight away from me, just sighed in relief. I let go and looked away.

" Do you get it now, I love you Hakihu," I say and blush.

" Kotaka, oh my god. I'm so sorry, I didn't know." She cried and walked into my arms

" That's okay." I sigh and hug her back as she clings onto my jacket

     She lets go and holds my hand all the way back to the diner. Once we got back she let go of it and I waved goodbye to her. I looked ahead of me and walked home. But right after she left me I could smell blood. I shake my head back and forth, but I was hungry. My right eye became black, my hair became red and long, and my clothes changed. I ran to the smell and found a zombie in an alley, it was a girl.

" Hello?" I asked
" Whos there." She said
" Don't worry, I just smelled blood and ran towards it. I won't eat your food." I promised
" Than what do you want." She questioned
" I give up, I'm hungry. I've been hungry for about three days." I explain

This is Jackie, in zombie form

" Oh, fine you can eat." She finally answered and walked out of the shadows

     She looked like Nanalai, but not at all at the same time. She told me her name was Jackie, I introduced myself as Red. She didn't look like any zombie I've ever seen, her eyes were just like Hakihu's, blood red. But she had horns on her head that were very sharp. I walked forward, she had killed a deer that walked into the city. I looked back at her as she watched out for others who might want a bite. I ate some of the deer and couldn't believe that my stomach was satisfied. 

" You're cute," She laughed.
" Uh, thanks." I blush
" Nice to meet you Red, I believe we will meet again sometime." She smiled and disappeared into the night. 

     I smiled and saw that the deer had disappeared as well. I get up and see Dyske looking me. He laughs a bit and walks off down the street. I changed back and went after him, but I couldn't find him. I rubbed the back of my head and went back home, wondering what Chika might think of me next. 
      I get home to the smell of meat, I walk into the kitchen to see Chika talking to a girl. The girl turned around and she looked just like Jackie, but human.

" Hey Kotaka, this girl says she knows you." Chika started
" Oh, ya I do. But she knows me by something else." I smile
" Yup, that's true, Red." She spoke
" Red, how did you get that name. It sounds like you murder people." Chika laughs

    Both Jackie and I start to laugh. Chika looked confused to me. We both stopped and looked at Chika. Chika smiled at us and continued to make dinner. I decided to help her since I wanted to make the meat perfect, so Jackie and I could eat it. I timed it for about 25 minutes hoping to make it very rare. I also helped out with the salad, Jackie helped with the potatoes.
    Jackie didn't really look like a zombie kind of girl. Her hair was light pink with a red bow in it. Her eyes were a pretty blue, and her face was like a little girls. She didn't seem like the type to kill either.
     After we finished making dinner Jackie set the table for us, we began to eat at 8:09 pm. Just like when we were little, we would always start at eight since that was when our parents would get back from work. I smiled and ate my dinner. But I still was confused how Jackie knew what I looked like as a human, that was strange to me. But why would a zombie like her want to get involved with a zombie like me.

iZombie ( Episode 5 )

     I was on my sofa, thinking. Inside I was laughing since I make more money in a day then my sister in a week. I sit up and smell dinner was cooking, it smelled like meat. I licked my lips and smiled inside. It was something I could eat that night, but how would I control myself in front of Chika.

" Kotaka its dinner time." She yelled

" Coming," I answered.

     I walked into the dining room and saw the table set for four. I was confused, then I heard a knock at the door. I went and opened it up, Hakihu and Domine were at the door. How does my sister know them, she hasn't even met them. I let them in and show them to the table. They sit down and I wait for another knock, but there was none. I walk back to the dining room and sat down, my sister then sits down and smiles at me.

" Why are they here." I start

" I Invited them," Chika replied  " And be less rude tonight,"

" We met at the supermarket," Hakihu said.

" How about you Domine" I questioned

" Hakihu let me come since she didn't want me to miss out meeting your sister." He laughed

     I smile at them and start to eat, Hakihu and I finished our meat in about 4 minutes. We wanted seconds, that turned into thirds. Domine was keeping his composure, how could he? Domine finishes his and asks for seconds, my sister smiles and gets up. I look at him and feel a slap on my cheek, he was angry at us. I remembered that he told us to eat like humans eat, not like zombies when they feast on a corpse. When my sister gave me my plate I slowly ate my meat, I didn't touch the vegetables. Hakihu and Domine did the same thing. Chika was confused why we didn't touch them, but she took our plates and cleaned them. 

" That was good," Hakihu shouted.

" You are a good cook my dear Chika." Domine winked

" Oh, thanks, Domine. It's for our new friendship and all." She blushes

" Great, look what you did to my sister." I interrupt.

" I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that." Domine smiles and rubs the back of his head

" Its okay, my brother is just over protective." She said

     Hakihu laughs and laughs, she doesn't stop. I look at her and want to cry, did she find a secret I was holding from them. Yes, I was. It was that I have a crush on my own step-sister, its sick, but I do. I walked them out of the building and saw Domine walk off in a different direction. Hakihu stayed my side for a bit.

" I want to show you something." She whispered into my right ear.

     I saw as her eyes became all red instead of black, and her outfit changed. She was different then the Hakihu I know. There appeared to be a red cloak around her body. Her hair became white as snow and her face seemed more innocent then before. She moved around me smelling me, was she the same person I knew before.

" Hey Hakihu, are you okay?" I asked

" Ya, I'm okay." She answered with a different voice, more like a little girls

" Your voice is different," I say.

" Ya I know, when you're a zombie you can change into anyone you like." She explained

" Now I remember," I reply and smile at her.

iZombie ( Episode 4 )

     Morning broke out and I wasn't up yet. I had slept through my alarm that morning. 

" Kotaka, it's time for work," Chika yelled.

" What?" I questioned while looking at the clock

" Its 8:00 AM already, you better get going." She replied

     I got up and raced to get my uniform on. I put my shoes on and went into the kitchen, ate some toast and headed out the door. I raced to the diner right in time to see Hakihu opening the shop. I smiled at her and waved my left arm. She looked my way and laughed, I couldn't help but laugh too. Once I got close to her she was smiling, she opened the shop and turned on the lights. 

" Your here early." She started

" Ya, my sister got me up right on the dot," I explain.

" I really like your sister, she should come by the shop when she can." Hakihu laughed

" That sounds nice," I reply and enter the shop.

This is Dyske

     I walk in and sit down at the counter, Hakihu makes us some coffee and we drink it together. We drank in silence for the next 10 minutes. I finished my cup and washed it clean in the sink, Hakihu gave me hers and I cleaned it as well. As the time went by more people were showing up, Hakihu introduced me to most of the people who walked. They were all the same, like Hakihu and I, izombies. There was one guy who was very imparticular to me, he had a strange personality. He said his name was Dyske, but I could be wrong. He mostly had vines up his arms, and some sort of tattoos on his upper arms that looked like chains. He wore his headset over his ears, he never took them off when we met. The thing that actually freaked me out the most was that he never took his eyes off of me. He was always looking up and down my body like I was some weird kid who claims to be something else. 

     Hakihu told me he was a power zombie, but never showed it in the city, even if it was just for food. He seemed like my type of dude, but to find out he is a bloody cannibal made me think of him worse. I didn't think a guy who looked like a normal teenager would be a cannibal, I couldn't make it out. The only thing that came to mind was that I was to never socialize with him ever again, hopefully. 

     Hakihu also introduced me to another zombie, it was a little girl who stayed upstairs in the diner. She was quite the looker for a little girl. She said her name was Nanalai, and that she was 14 years old. She seemed like the kind of person who didn't really like showing off or anything. Nanalai was a very calm person, she was shy at first but came up to me pretty quick. I would never have known so many zombies lived in the city.

     I just thought they all were hiding from the detectives around these parts. Hakihu told me to never tell them my name or what I was, I could help them. Or at least point to a different side of the city hoping they won't find our little diner. 

     After she introduced me to both of them, Nanalai and she went upstairs to get ready for bed. I guess there were rooms to sleep in up there. Like a bed and breakfast. I followed and Dyske showed me my room, which I was next to his. They all stayed there and worked at the diner, but why weren't they in the diner's picture before. I was confused about everything, even if Dyske is a cannibal and even if Nanalai is the strongest zombie in this diner I wasn't going to freak out on them. After I got settled in Domine wanted us to meet downstairs. We all went to see he had set up a little party for us, thanking us in all our hard work making this place what it is today. I smiled and drank some coffee, Dyske had brought some meat for us. Domine told me I had to eat at least one pound of it a day or I would go crazy. I ate the pound of meat in about 3 minutes, fastest time for me, ever. We all cleaned up after and waited for more customers. I checked the clock to see it was finally 7:00 PM, almost closing time for Hakihu and I. We worked pretty hard today, even considering that she introduced me to so many new zombies I have to remember.  Today was my first day of work, it went alright for me. I took my apron off and hung it up on my room door. I said goodbye to everyone and went back to my step sisters apartment. I even got my first check, which was about half my allowance now. I made about 100 ryo today, I was happy I got this job. 

" Chika I'm home," I shouted.

" How was it." She replied and walked out of her working room

" I met some interesting people but enjoyed it. I also got my first paycheck." I showed her my pay check

" This is what I get in a week, how are you making more money than me?" She questioned deeply

" I don't know, I guess I'm doing a better job than I thought." I responded and clasped onto the living room sofa

     

iZombie ( Episode 3 )

    I got home and saw that my clothes were back to normal, same as my hair. I guess drinking that coffee really helped. I walked up the four flights of stairs and entered room 205. My step sister was at her desk, working away. I smile and place the bag of food on the dining table. She looked up from her work and smiled at me. She got up and hugged me, like the old days.

" Thanks for getting dinner." She smiled even bigger

" No problem, it's all I can do for you since your working your ass off," I smirk and set the table.

     I put the pasta in a pan and start to heat it up. I then put the meatballs in the oven, so they can cook properly. Chika sits down and rests her head on the table, she looks happy. I stir the pasta for a bit then sit next to her. I rub her back and calm her down for a bit until the oven rings a couple of times. I stood up and took the meatballs out of the oven to cool down, then I took the pasta out of the pan to cool also. While they cooled down I heated up some sauce to put over the pasta. I then served us with an equal amount of food, I put sauce all over hers. Only a tiny bit over mine.

" Tonight, I'm happy.Thank you Kotaka for getting me my favorite meal." She laughed

" Your welcome Chika. I hope you enjoy yourself." I smile back at her and let her start.

     I look down at my plate and twirl my fork in some of the pasta. I pick up my fork and place it in my mouth. It tasted like I just had put slim in my mouth, I try not to bite, it slowly goes down my throat. I cough a bit and try to eat some more. I tried so hard to fit in that night, I couldn't eat anymore after the tenth bite. Chika looks at me and smiles, she was waiting for me to finish since she was already done. 

" Are you okay? I can get you some medicine." She asked

" I'm. . . . . Fine. Really, you don't. . . . . Need to worry about me." I try to speak

" Okay, well I need to get back to work. Eat at your own past." She responded and got up from the table.     

     I try to smile at her, but all I want to do is throw up. I run to the bathroom and throw up the food, I remember what Hakihu told me about us. If we don't throw up the human food we ate then our system gets all messed up. Sometimes our kind dies if we eat too much human food. I calm down and wipe my chin with a towel. I get up and look at myself in the bathroom mirror. I looked the same as always, the nerd I am today. I go out of the bathroom and see Chika looking at me. She looked like she was worried sick for me. I kneel down to her eye level and smiled at her.

" Are you sure you're okay." She asks

28-year-old Domine

" I'm sure I'm fine," I say

The next morning. . . .

     I get up early and head out of the building that morning. I get out of the building and run to the diner, Hakihu was cleaning up like always. I walk in and see her face light up. She hugs me and it was a tight one. She lets go of me and stops cleaning.

" So your back." She starts

" Ya, thought you wanted to see me again," I reply.

" Oh, I want you to meet someone." She says and goes behind to a different room.

     She comes back but was followed by a middle-aged man. He looked about the age of 47, but then again he could be in his 20's. 

" So you're the Kotaka I heard about. The names Domine." He smiles and takes out his left hand.
" Yup, that's me." I smile and hope for the best.
" So you need a job right? Because I need a hard worker like you." Domine started up
" Oh, that's right. I forgot to tell you, silly me." Hakihu laughed
" Sure, it will really help me and my step sister out, thank you," I say and bow my head in respect.
" You don't need to bow son, and your welcome. You start today kid." Domine replied and went back to his room.

     I smiled and jumped with happiness, I was going to work, finally. I high-fived Hakihu's hand and hugged her. It was out of the ordinary for me, but I just did it. I looked at the business picture, Hakihu and Domine were the only ones in the picture. They made this diner theirs by the looks of it, on their own. I smile at the picture and see Domine looking at me. I step back a bit and see his face light up. I see his face change, but how? I thought he wasn't one of them. He looks at me and puts both arms out.

" Didn't expect this did you Kotaka." He smirks and smiles at me
" No, I didn't. But I am one too you know. And I think you know that Hakihu is one too." I try to say
" I know kid, were family. But not that close of family. You see I found her on the streets when she was young, her mother wrote a note to me saying to keep her safe." He explained

Domine in zombie form.

" Domine has been my new dad now." Hakihu smiled at me.

    I looked at Domine, his whole face looked different. Well as a izombie we can do that, change our entire self. Meaning we can change into a different person. I smile at him and see him change back into his human form, I questioned the whole thing. I shook my head a bit and remembered what I was doing there. Domine handed me a apron to wear around my waist, I put it on with anticipation. It was white with a symbol on it, the symbol was easy to remember. It was a heart with two arrows through it, that work black. The heart itself was a light tan color. Hakihu tied it on my back and clapped her hands together. Now I was officially the new employee everyone will be talking about.

iZombie ( Episode 2 )

     I ran and felt my hair get shorter, my running skills were dying, and my eye was back to normal. I stopped and looked behind me, the hospital was far away. I looked at what street I was at, the right one.  It was CherryIsle Rd, that's the company's name as well. I walked to the left of the street with my hands in my pocket. I looked for my phone which was in my back pocket, I took it out and called my step sister.

" Hello?" She answered

" Chika-kun, it's me Kotaka. I'm on my way to your building." I say

" Kotaka, why?" She asked

" I'm lost and have nowhere to go," I confirm with her, hoping she will let me stay.

" Okay, I'm on the fourth floor. Remember that," She laughed and hung up.

That's Chika and me.
Me as in the normal me.

     I walked two more blocks and turned to my right, her building was right there. She worked at home, but she was good at it. I walked up four sets of stairs and reached her door. Her number was 205, how funny is that. I knocked on the door, put it was open. I walked in and saw her living room was a mess, same as her kitchen. I put my hands on my face and hid them from the rest of her house. I walked into her office and saw her face glowed to the computer. I walked over and put my hand on the wall, making her move back a bit in her chair. She was shocked and surprised I came early. I smile and rub her hair, she laughs and continues to work. I walk over to the sofa and jump onto it, I turn the TV on and watch the news. 

" I guess there was another murder," I muttered.

" No kidding, I've been looking it up. It looks like a kid jumped out of a hospital window." She explained

" Really? That's horrible." I try to sound convincing

" Ya, hope they find the kid, they have to be in horrible shape to run off like that." She answered and went back to her report. 

" Yup," I suggest to her

     I turned the TV back off and laid down on the sofa looking up at the ceiling. I looked at my hands and saw my red veins disappearing. I sighed in relief but didn't know how to get them back if I had to fight. But that wouldn't happen, right?
     I couldn't fight the fact that I was actually hungry right now. How can I be hungry, I just ate at the hospital. Or did I? I remember throwing it up, did I not like that food. Well It tastes like slim, what is wrong with me. I felt my hair as it got longer, I looked at the TV screen and saw my right eye turn black.

' I'm hungry for human flesh, but Chika doesn't know this about me.' I thought and couldn't think of what to do.

" Hey Chika, I'm heading out. I'm going to get something to eat." I yelled out
" Sure thing, be back soon." She shouted back at me.

     I ran out of the room and down the stairs, people were looking at me. I closed my eyes and tried to calm down, I looked in my phone and saw my eye was back to normal. But my clothes and hair were the same. I didn't know how I did that but I ran as fast I could to my favorite diner down the street. I jumped over cars and moved past several people. I wanted to eat food. I got to the diner and slowly entered, it was silent inside.

" Hello, anyone here," I called out.
" One second please. I'll be right there." A girl said

     She walked out of the back and I could see her expression, all the same, like I was a monster. She smiled and laughed at me.

" You seem quite new at this kind of transforming thing, don't you." She asked
" How do you now, are you one of them."
" But don't tell my boss, they all don't know I'm one. The names Hakihu, nice to meet you. . . ."

This is Hakihu, in human form.

" Oh, right. The names Kotaka." I say and smile back at her
" Kotaka, that's an interesting name for a boy, my mother almost named me that." She laughed
" Are you kidding me, I thought I had a boy name." I start to laugh
" I know right, and I thought I had a guys name." She stops mid way

     She looks at me and blushes, she wasn't in her izombie form. But she gave me a cup of coffee, she sat down next to me and began to talk. She told me how she was lost, and how the man who owns this place saved her life when she was young. I tell her everything I know, she knows who the women was that was chasing me.
     She was wearing the most beautifulest dress I had ever seen, at least for a waitresses outfit. Her hair was different colors, purple at the roots, then dark brown, light brown, lastly blond. She seemed different too, she wasn't the normal type either.

" I'm sorry to keep you here so long." She muttered
" No, it's fine. I feel better that I know there's someone else like me around here. I'll be coming back soon." I say and wave my hand good-bye.
" Thank's Kotaka, I'll remember you." She smiles and goes back to work.

     I walk out of the diner and change back to my human form, I was calm now. I go to the supermarket and get some pasta and meatballs. Chika will love this for dinner, it was our favorite when we were young.

     

iZombie ( Episode 1 )

     It's October 5th and everyone is silent. There is no sound to be heard, just running footsteps from what seems to be a teenage boy. The age is 19 years old, he is a senior at his high school. I'm guessing he has good grades. By the looks of it something is chasing this boy. It is what we call over here an izombie, they eat humans for a living. They can't really eat human food or it will kill them. 

" Get back here boy." The women shouted

" Never in a million years, I'm not going to die that easy." The boy yelled back

" You'll die someday."

" Haha, you're funny." The boy said and kept running.

     It was about 5:00 pm, so the sun was setting. If it got dark the boy would be in a good amount of danger. But lucky for him he was close to his house. He turned around and saw the women far behind him, she wasn't that fast with her feet. The boy laughed and turned the corner, he was just a couple blocks away from his home. 

' I can do this.' The boy thought running for his life.

     He got to his gate and jumped over it, he knocked on the door and no one answered it. He looked around and found an extra key under the door mat. He opened the door and locked it behind him. He sat down at the door and sighed with relief. He was hoping everything would be okay now.

" Hey kid, I'm still here." The women said
" How?" The boy asked
" I can smell your fear, open the door, please." She explained

     The kid opened the door to see the women of his age looking at him with her black eyes. She smiled at him and took out her hand. She licked her lips and smiled even more. The boy gave her his arm and hoped for the best out of this. That was what he got.

2 Months later. . . . . .

" Kotaka, wake up," A man said
" Huh." He questioned
" Well you seem to be healthy as can be now, we shall see in the next three days how you are feeling." The doctor explained and walked out of the room.

That's me, as an izombie.
Kotaka's the name.

    Kotaka looked around the room to see a hospital room. It was on the third floor, room 205. He had gone through things he forgot. The only thing he remembered was that he wanted to die before he blanked out. He sat up and had the worst headache, but he was still curious where he was. He got up and stretched, his feet were cold on the stone floor. He found a mirror and looked at himself. His right eye was all black, his skin was showing red veins under the eye. He tried to hide it, but it wouldn't go away.

' What happened to me, all I remember is taking the women's hand.'

     He looked blankly into the mirror, he found out what had happened. He was about to die, but something saved him by killing the women. But how can he be an izombie from it. Were her good organs put into his system. He didn't have time to think, he had to get out of the hospital before anything happened. My hair was messed up, it went down to my waist. My hair was a blood red color, my clothes also changed. I had a white shirt on with black liner that closed it up, I also had blueish black pants. I looked more different than before this all happened.

' Why did this happen to me, it could have happened to somebody else.' I thought

     I took that thought out of my head and thought of a way to get out. I couldn't think of a better way to get out, just jump out of the window. I took all of my energy and jumped out of the third floor of the hospital building. I landed on my feet, my eye stung but I kept moving. I ran for all I could was run. I had nowhere to go, just my step sisters office. I decided to go there, hopefully, she wouldn't mind me there.
